This past summer, LWP Productions had the privilege and honor of working in conjunction with The Florida Holocaust Museum for their Beaches, Benches and Boycotts exhibition. We conducted an audio interview with famous Major League Baseball player, Bill White. Bill White played for the St. Louis Cardinals when he was sent to the heavily segregated and racially tense St. Petersburg, Florida for spring training. Bill White, also known as "Uppity", helped fight for integration with local heroes such as Dr. Ralph Wimbish and his wife Bette. This was LWP Productions' first time doing archival work, and we are excited to add The Florida Holocaust Museum's interview with Bill White to our list of completed projects. Pieces of Bill White’s interview are currently on display at The Florida Holocaust Museum within their baseball section of the Beaches, Benches, and Boycotts exhibition.
